Wet Wrinkled Arrival
She has strong mothering instincts so no interventions were needed. She has spent the day giving baths and feeding. This wrinkled pup picture is directly after delivery while she was starting him breathing and tending to the umbilical cord. He lost his wrinkles soon after as his fur dried.
The First Four
With 2 Males and 2 Females at the start of the litter, she was very happy to be taking some of her belly weight off.

Note the litter has near doubled in size since whelping.
Ear creases are starting to fill in. Pups are still deaf until 3 weeks old.
Green F is a dedicated napper
Puppy yawns are the best.
The sleeping pile shifts constantly.
Every 10 min they resnuggle.
Starting to open those beautiful eyes.
As they are starting to walk instead of army crawl, they use their tails for balance to get across the box.
When nursing, they are a row of actively wagging tails as well. They build muscles by pushing in with their back legs amidst plenty of grunting and sighing.
Now 2 weeks old, full bellied babies always end up right back to sleep in a milk comma.
